One of my poems in Filipino, Talà (”Star”) has been featured in the 2nd issue of the Bulawan Online literary journal.

Award-winning poet Roberto T. Añonuevo examines the poem in his essay Estetika at Pagtanaw hinggil sa Dalawang Lungsod.

Head Panelist at the UP Parser Writing Workshop

New Literary Journal: Bulawan Online

I’m the webmaster and one of the staffers of the newly launched Bulawan Online, a premier literary journal under the aegis of National Artist for Literature Virgilio S. Almario (a.k.a. Rio Alma).

Rio Alma serves as chief editor and is accompanied by some of the most distinguished names in Philippine literature. The journal’s design was made by Sophia Lucero.

UST National Workshop Fellows Announced

Our workshop will begin on April 21 in the UST campus at España, Manila and will conclude on the 26th at Casa de Tobias in Laguna. Wish me luck.

I’ve started updating my Multiply account with pics of both recent and long-gone events in my life. (As if anyone cares.) I’ve also shifted away from using English on the blog — tutal, puro mga Pinoy naman ang dumadaan doon e.
