informative site…..I have been proud and will always be proud being a “QUIMPO”. By the way, my Grandfather is JOAQUIN QUIMPO SR., deceased… an unico hijo…we hail from BICOL. To my mind, “kami lang QUIMPO duman”. If my memory serves me right…My father, JOSE T. QUIMPO with my mom attend CLAN REUNION in Aklan long time ago…
My beloved Aunt, Anita Quimpo told us that QUIMPO derived from a QUEEN, while KIMPO derived from a KING……….truly my cousins will be amaze of this…..

all ii can say our family is not conceited, were proud!! Proud to be born in a family with so much history and pride… ABout the eagle on our crest, i think we have to make a better story about it…kasi may iba sa pamilya na nanggaling sa la salle hehe..
