Dear Mr. Phil Kimpo:
I am Vickee P. Paz, sister-in-law of Mr. Roberto P. Quimpo, who now lives in U.S.A. He asked me to help him look for his long lost son named Mark Lester P. Quimpo.I came across your corsarius site and saw a Mark Lester Quimpo, I wonder if you may help me get in touch with him, so I can open the communication line between him and his dad, who’s been looking for him all these years. Thanks and looking forward to read from you or Mark Lester. God bless and Happy Holidays.

Hi there!
I’m not really sure who to address this entry to…but I’m just wondering if you guys heard of Starlito Tina or Tina family. I was born in Batan, Aklan and I’m looking for my biological father which is Starlito Tina or anyone who knows him or related to him. I’ve only met him once and never seen him after that. If anyone has information about him please reply back to this entry. Thank you so much! -Smilyn
I’m Kev Kimpo from Aklan. I spent my childhood days in Torralba, Banga, Aklan but I am aware that my forefathers are from Numancia. Kimpo’s from Libacao, Aklan are relatives as well. It will be nice if we can have family get-together so that we will get to know some of you if not all. I am now based in Manila. I recently added Kimpo’s and Quimpo’s in Facebook. Take care insan!
My grandfather died when my father was 3-month old in my grandmother’s womb. Hence, he has a very limited story to tell about our “ROOTS!” But before my grandmother died, she told me that the father of my father is Leoncio Quimpo of Numancia, Aklan. Neighbors would later confirmed that they fondly call him “Tan Onsoy”. If my memory serves me right, Uncle Gil Kimpo, an Engineer from Public Highways used to visit our home when I and my four brothers was still very young to hug and gave us pasalubong whenever he returns home from his Negros assignment. It was during one of these visits that i noted that Uncle Gil is a white- colored handsome man like Nong Allen while I am brown-skinned boy like my humble father who became one of his best friends. When they were together, they looked like the “Ebony and Ivory” or the ” the coffee and the milk”. Despite, their varied colors and stature in life, they became inseparable. They may have been nursed by different wombs, but were sired by the same bloodlines that passes through their viens. . .the same bloodlines that I hold dear in my heart despite my advanced age here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Let us therefore thank God that our hearts remain united despite the distance and time that separates us. Mabuhay ang “KIMPO-QUIMPO Clan” of the WORLD !!! Good luck and God bless you Philip. . .

hello phillip, jr. i was a classmate of your father at the spxs in roxas city. i was pleasantly surprised to see your father on tv on the first day of the hearings, or was it? i tried then to look for ways to contact him, at least to renew the lisle that once bound us together, the pian spirit. yesterday i saw him again in the replay of tina munoz palma’s talkback. i texted another classmate, msgr. armando villaruz of paranaque and he inquired if i got your dad’s contact number. perhaps you can provide us one that we may be able to give him a boost of morale. i’ve got pictures with your dad during our seminary days and i take pride in pointing out to friends and acquaintances here in zambales that sr. prosecutor phillip kimpo was a classmate in st. pius x seminary and his training as a seminarian will always come out the better in him. it, indeed, has been a long, long time ago, march of 1971, during our graduation in philosophy, when we last saw each other. perhaps, through this missive, an avenue for renewing camaraderie will be available. pls pass on to him my celphone no. 09177370966.

Dear Phillip,
Have read your letter to Mr. Bondoc, it is indeed very touching I being a son, a father, grandfather and soon to be great grand father do commisirate with you. But most of all I do believe that your father is honest. It is sons like who make a father’s day and life. Keep up the honest teachings and examples your father have given you because it is the greatest inheritance a son can have.

I read your letter to the Philippine Star and consequently your online blog article and I couldn’t help but wonder if you were indeed the philipp kimpo that I knew in LSQC and I am pleasantly surprised to find out that it is indeed you. I’ve been following the case regarding the Alabang Boys and how it is being portrayed in the media. All I can say is that I do hope the truth comes out. As one Lourdesian to another I pray that you and your family find the strength as you go through this ordeal. God bless!

i think that classmate of yours is inept. how would pride be conceit? well, maybe sometimes pride can be misconstrued as conceit if it one has a very high opinion of one’s self. but to have a shirt with an emblem is just saying that you have a harmonious clan and you are proud to be in it.
nice site you have here. and you seem busy. keep up the good work!

great site for an Aklanon and Moleskine advocate haha
A very artistic website … a fine example of the art and craft of web site design.
Interesting content.
Great work.
dude i like the version of our families origins.. but i’ve heard more stories about our roots, wen i get a chance il email them to you..about our family crest, ive got a better pix, its in my friendster or myspace just grab..
all ii can say our family is not conceited, were proud!! Proud to be born in a family with so much history and pride… ABout the eagle on our crest, i think we have to make a better story about it…kasi may iba sa pamilya na nanggaling sa la salle hehe..

wow, kasali ka pala sa battle of the brains dati ah! parati akong nanonood nun dati. eheheh.
i was wondering why you didn’t choose to be in quesci despite your being the topper in their entrance exam. but then again i understand why you chose to be in phisci. hehehe.
Guestbook? Anachronism!
waha. yipee! galing tlga, cge inspire more people. ^_^
i think that classmate of yours is inept. how would pride be conceit? well, maybe sometimes pride can be misconstrued as conceit if it one has a very high opinion of one’s self. but to have a shirt with an emblem is just saying that you have a harmonious clan and you are proud to be in it.
nice site you have here. and you seem busy. keep up the good work!
aha! kaya pala nawawala ka na sa slip of the pen, eto pala pinagkakaabalahan mo!
glad to see you’re writing and writing and writing. and designing kick-ass sites. sige lang.
galing. i can see that you really do have the makings of a great journalist. keep it up phlip! good work with everything but most especially about the kimpo clan write up..hehe
