Last August, I served as Judge in the “UP Manila Sentro ng Wikang Filipino (SWF) Paligsahan sa Pagsulat ng Tula at Sanaysay” contest together with Vim Nadera and Lilia Antonio.

I served as Panelist/Critic in the “Personal/Politikal” Poetry Workshop in DLSU-D yesterday. It was an honor to read the works of seven budding Fellows together with my co-Panelists Emmanuel V. Dumlao, Deborah D. Nieto, and Mariane A.R.T. Abuan.
The workshop was held by the school’s Department of Filipino and Literature and is one of the highlights of their Buwan ng Wika 2009.
